Samantha Leigh

Samantha Leigh was born on May 14, 2007 at 10:27 in the morning. This girl was stuborn from the start.

Sammy, as we call her most days, was breech and did not plan on coming out anytime around her due date. Though everyone told us she would turn, mommy instinct told me to just prepare for a C section.

No problem, I could do this.

Sammy changed our world. She gave me a new name, one that I will treasure for my life. Mommy. She gave me a husband who was now a Daddy. Daddy.

Sammy loves to ride her scooter, have tea parties, snuggle with her Polar Bear, dress up and take care of her brother. She never lets a cry from T go unheard, and never lets anything get past her. She loves to sing her ABC's, count to 20, and watch Tinkerbell. She wants to be a princess when she grows up.

She already is in my eyes ;)

Sammy's Tricks

*Went potty on the potty chair 2 times without being told!!! (3/12/09)

*Can name and point out a square, circle, triangle, oval, rectangle, octagon, and rhombus (that's the teacher in me!)

*Names and describes colors

*Counts to 10 by herself...sometimes up to 13

*Sings Old McDonald

*Sings her entire ABC's-NONSTOP...that's how she tries to soothe Travis when he's crying!

*Sings and spells BINGO

*Puts her own clothes on.

*Wears mostly underwear now, only pull ups or diapers at night! (6/25/09)

*Wears ONLY underwear now, even to bed!!! (8/1/09)
